It's such a lovely day here in Northern Maine that I decided to get some photos of my spring flowers busting through the ground. Pansy's are my favorite. I just love all their multi-colored faces. After taking the pictures and loaded them on my computer, I proceeded to email them to myself.
While I was doing that I found a bunch of family recipes that I had scanned into my computer last Christmas. I come from a huge family and for our Christmas Party we all try to make one gift for exchange. We have loads of fun trying to swap gifts with each other. My gift was a scrap book of all our families recipes. I went through my grandmothers, my mothers and my recipe box and collected a good bunch. Next I scanned them and printed them on card stock so the recipe would be in the original handwriting of the cook. A nice keepsake I thought. Well I just synced them to my itouch and now I have a recipe album in my photo section. I expect this to come in handy when my App. comes out. I can also quickly share them with other family and friends by email.
